Mobile MDS Support Nurse

Summary

The Mobile MDS Nurse is involved in training, auditing, coordinating/assisting with the completion and submission of accurate and timely interdisciplinary MDS assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual Regulations and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Legacy standards. This person will travel to different locations to help assist facility with MDS.

Responsibilities:

Education:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a valid Ohio Nursing license required.

Experience:

At least two (2) years of experience as an MDS Coordinator with demonstrated working knowledge of MDS 3.0 RAI manual and requirements and associated update and clarifications. 

Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. and follow through, that are necessary for producing timely and accurate coding.

Multi-facility management experience is preferred.
