Bioinformatic Postdoctoral Fellow (Sette Lab)
We are currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher with strong bioinformatics experience for a fellowship position that is immediately available at our research lab. The ideal candidate is a bioinformatician with experience in NGS data analysis and is passionate about learning and answering complex immunological questions.
Required Qualifications:

- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields
- Deep understanding of next-generation sequencing data and bioinformatics algorithms, particularly for scRNAseq and scTCRseq
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Experience in analyzing large-scale genomic datasets
- Familiarity with diverse programs and tools used for NGS data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in human immunology
- Successful publication record in relevant fields
- Knowledge of bioinformatic approaches to study vaccine and infection responses
- Experience working in academic environments
- Experience with mentorship or project management
The bioinformatic postdoc will collaborate on projects focused on analyzing large datasets of scRNAseq and scTCRseq to explore mechanisms, immune signatures, and the interplay of vaccination and infection in human samples. Our lab is engaged in impactful scientific projects related to immune responses to infection and vaccination, with a particular focus on SARS-CoV-2 and other viruses with pandemic potential, as well as other pathogens relevant to human health. The postdoc will be expected to work in a collaborative environment and help define research questions, lead bioinformatic analyses, and contribute to publications in collaboration with the PI and other team members.
