Salary commensurate upon skill set, experience, and competency in operational leadership roles. The position is bonus eligible up to 12% annually based on individual and company performance.

 

Job Overview:  The ideal candidate must combine technical knowledge with sales skills and experience to provide advice and support on a range of cash automation hardware, software, and related payment solutions for Retail markets. The Technical Sales Engineer is the person who stays abreast of the latest developments and educates the sales teams as breakthroughs or advancements are made. This position also functions as part of the product training team for the sales team.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Assist with technical presentations and demonstrations of smart safes, cash recyclers, and related software solutions to clients on how SafePoint meets their needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Conduct on-site operational studies and labor observations at client sites
  • Facilitate end-to-end financial supply chain mapping sessions with the client, their bank, and Loomis. 
  • Assist with in-depth cost-benefit analysis calculations and presentations
  • Travel as needed with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities
  • Travel to project sites (Pilot) to perform start-up, integration, and training
  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
  • Provide periodic updates and training to Loomis sales teams on SafePoint product enhancements, timelines, and new product launches
  • Receive feedback from Loomis clients, prospects, and sales teams regarding potential product improvements and requests to share with SafePoint product team for consideration
  • Maintain a current understanding of market, industry, and competitor intelligence, events, and trends related to cash management and automation. 
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of new SafePoint clients
  • Provide training and support for other members of the sales team related to internal procedures, systems, and reporting tools related to SafePoint, Cash Exchange, and Cash Forecasting. 
  • Perform administrative tasks such as cash analysis, labor optimization analysis, and value quantification as needed.

 

Qualification:

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Time is split between the office and visiting clients
  • Up to 50% travel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 5+ years’ experience within the financial services industry and with cash automation products.
  • Proven history of technical knowledge and sales skills 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, highly energetic, professional, and flexible
  • Must be a team player with a collaborative style and good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Must live within close proximity of a major airport
