LTI, Inc. is looking for a Human Resource Manager, in partnership with one direct report, to support our 500 employees, both union and non-union in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  Based in Sunnyside, WA, you are the point of contact for recruitment, training, compensation, employee relations and performance management.  This is a non-safety sensitive position.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to HR functions by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training and leadership development, and compensation for LTII employees.
  • Maintain knowledge and identify legal requirements to ensure policies and procedures affecting human resources functions comply with state and federal laws, including workers compensation claims.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs such as disability insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Educate and advise employees on eligibility and benefit options including serving as liaison between employees and the Company’s benefit administrators.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.  
  • Prepare and maintain employee handbook on Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compensation plans that are competitive and within the current labor market by analyzing wage reports and data.
  • Assist employees with employment issues.
  • Manage employee leaves to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

What we need from you (minimum requirements):

  • Minimum five years’ full cycle Human Resource’s experience.
  • Knowledge of Washington State employment law.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System and HRIS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

 

Preference if you also have:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
  • Experience using Dayforce a plus.

 

Your work schedule: 

  • Work will be performed onsite at our corporate office in Sunnyside, WA.
  • Able to work remotely one day per week.
  • Core business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Occasionally may be required to work hours outside the normal schedule.
  • Overnight travel to Company locations in Washington, Oregon, Montana & Idaho is required six times a year.
