EXPERIENCE TEAM HOST | JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Experience Team Host is responsible for creating and facilitating memorable experiences for guests and providing a high level of hospitality to ensure their experience with Magnolia is second-to-none. This position accomplishes this through the leading and facilitation of tours of the Magnolia grounds.. This position works irregular hours as guest needs require from Magnolia properties in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Experience Team Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values
- Serve as a Magnolia brand ambassador by serving and connecting with guests
- Create and facilitate engaging opportunities that enhance the guest experience
- Present tour information in an engaging and informative manner with adherence to accurate details and timing guidelines
- Maintain a high level of brand awareness and of updates to Magnolia guest offerings
- Serve as a guide for Magnolia-led tours
- Enthusiastically welcome guests upon arrival to the experience
- Learn the needs and expectations of the guests and eagerly meet those needs
- Contribute positively to a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Soft skills: Strong verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, excellent customer service and people skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience: 2-4+ years of customer service experience preferred
- General availability: Must be available to work flexible hours as assigned, including weekends, special events, and holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently access staircases, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
