APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR | JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

SUMMARY 

At Magnolia, the Applications Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining our software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of data for internal department planning and activities. This position works from Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Applications & Engineering Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide support to end-users via tier 2 support and interface with Service Desk personnel, providing knowledge base articles and guidance* 
  • Administer IT application portfolio systems, environments, upgrades, and security, including but not limited to Shopify, NetSuite, Toast, Salesforce, Domo, etc.* 
  • Assist in the implementation, configuration, and support of new services and applications* 
  • Deploy and administer applications and third-party tools as required, other platforms as necessary
  • Utilize standard corporate tools to plan projects, record changes, track problem activities, and document resolution* 
  • Ensure proper documentation and on-time delivery of all technical artifacts and deliverables    
  • Maintain vendor relationships through support tickets and collaboration 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred 
  • 2-4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred 
  • Experience supporting third-party SaaS applications preferred   
  • Must be available to be on call as business needs require 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
