Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for an Operations Clerk 2. This role is on-site located in Bolingbrook, IL, USA. Support the manufacturing floor in all aspects related to inventory control. Monitor and update tracking sheets. Update attributes and track materials in WMS system. Perform physical inspections and counts. Work with manufacturing supervisor and operators to complete requests and ensure productions lines remain stocked.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for documenting inventory by recording additions, disbursements, adjustments, losses, and removal of items.
- Follows all company & EHS policies, practices, and procedures.
- Work in WMS system to track and assign available materials.
- Investigates and corrects inventory discrepancies.
- Fulfill inventory orders summited by production.
- Performs periodic review of inventory stock, recording quantity, type, and value of materials on hand.
- Collect and recycle unused stock to maintain a clean environment.
- Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
- Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position.
- Supports Continuous Improvement (CI) tasks, projects, and initiatives.
- Suggests and participate in safety activities such as training, hazard identification, safety observations, job safety analyses, audits, inspections, and safety committee.
- Reports any and all uncontrolled hazards, injuries, and near misses to shift supervisor.
- Other Responsibilities, as directed.
Qualifications:
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong experience working with inventory control.
- Working experience in Warehouse Management System.
- Must have experience operating PIVs (stand up forklift, sit-down forklift, walkie rider).
- Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes.
- Must have experience with Microsoft office, Word, Excel.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prior inventory control experience.
- PIV experience (stand up forklift, sit-down forklift, walkie rider).
- Requires basic knowledge manufacturing / industrial workplace safety.
- Must have strong communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills in English and Spanish.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements:
- Job requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Ability to repetitively lift 25 lbs. frequently.
- Frequently required to stand for up to 8 hours, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry or moving from one work area to another.
- Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, bending, reaching, stooping, etc.
- Must be able to continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
- Regular exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant hazardous conditions including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, more than 50% of the work time.
