SummaryEnru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for Product Strategy Associate. This role is Hybrid, primarily remote but with 10-20% travel to Bolingbrook / Chicago.

WHAT DOES THE PRODUCT STRATEGY ASSOCIATE DO?

Reporting to the SVP of Product, the Product Strategy Associate is responsible for executing mission-critical strategic projects and market research that drive growth for Enru. Partnering with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations – the incumbent will utilize their broad skillset to accelerate the growth and refinement of our physical and service-based products. This is a unique opportunity to join a PE-backed company and work with senior leaders to build something while also operating it.

A typical week may look like this:

  • Monday – Work with sales to refine our go-to-market approach: Interview the sales team to understand critical-to-close requirements from various market segments to refresh our sales tools.
  • Tuesday – Perform market research. Determine gaps between what is in our CRM and lists of targets obtained via primary and secondary market research.
  • Wednesday – Build a rough draft of a pitch to a client based on intel from our sales team. Curate existing marketing materials and sales tools along with new ideas and concepts to help close deals.
  • Thursday – Analyze the financial health of our product lines and report out to the business. How is our contribution margin and volume results vs. our targets? What seem to be the major deltas?
  • Friday – Work with Finance, Account Management, Sales, and Product Leaders to update our market and product segmentations. Are there more impactful ways of looking at our customers and P&Ls to drive strategic action/focus?

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You thrive on spinning plates – in fact, you can’t imagine a work-life of doing the same thing every day.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity. A white sheet of paper excites you, and you don’t flinch to start filling it in.
  • You have a strong ability to zoom out to 30,000 ft. on an issue and then zoom into the 10 ft. as needed.
  • You’re comfortable making and presenting materials to senior level audiences, both internal and in a client-facing environment.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2-5 years of overall experience
  • 1-2 years in a client-facing or commercial role (e.g., account manager, sales rep, management consultant, marketing, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of experience working with data to make decisions.
  • Formal education in, or, demonstrated professional experience in reading financial statements
  • Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Use of and/or design of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
