Summary: Enru Logistics and Postal Optimization is looking for Pricing Analyst 2. This role sits in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will prepare cost estimates for our postal optimization and consolidated freight (Dropship) offerings. In this role you will work cross functionally with Customers, Sales and Legal on preparation of Contracts for work to prepare competitive pricing estimates to close new/existing business opportunities and retain the existing customer base.  

This role reports to The Postal Optimization Pricing Manager.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Organize and prioritize RFP requests in CRM and ensure all data is uploaded and up to date. 

  • Manage bid cycle including RFP process, awards and rate contracting phases. 

  • Compile customer bid data and incorporate analytical data from established tools to help determine optimal pricing strategies. 

  • Work with operations to provide spot quotes to customers in a way that maximizes revenue. 

  • Support sales, operations, and customer service and ensure all contract info is current and communicated efficiently. 

  • Create, analyze and maintain pricing reports, audits, statistical analysis and business intelligence reports. 

  • Performs financial analyses, including forecasts, projections, and historical assessments on multi-year deals.  

  • Facilitates the management approvals required for price levels and contract terms  

  • Facilitates communication among management, sales, and plant staffs regarding contract and price  

  • Responsible for compiling and preparing customer contracts working with legal and updating and appending price schedules and contract terms. 

  • Maintain knowledge of market competitive pricing and factor in market conditions when developing pricing strategy and recommendations.  

  • Functions as billing, finance, and management resource for postal optimization pricing and contract issues.  

  • Determine the need to engage outside vendors to produce work and work with external vendors to negotiate pricing and/or timelines. 

  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field or 5-7+ years' experience in Logistics or a related field.   

  • 4+ years experience in Pricing in Transportation or Logistics, USPS mail processing, or address list processing is needed. 

  • Previous experience with USPS mail processing (Mail.dats) either in mail processing or address list processing is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of CRM software (customer relationship management) is needed.  

  • Ability to quickly learn and use new software systems 

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, and Microsoft Windows , including the ability to create and manipulate complex pivot tables, create time saving formulas, and/or macros. 

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Must possess strong communication skills (both oral and written). 

  • Organized, can multi-task, has good time management skills and attention to detail.   

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. 

  • Strong sense of urgency, and the initiative to work independently. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with others. Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
