McNaughton-McKay Electric Company is currently seeking a talented individual to join our CAP/VMI team. This full-time opportunity is located in our Savannah, Georgia branch but will be required to conduct daily business travel.  

What does a Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist do at McNaughton-McKay?  Let me tell you more!
•    Oversees and executes the product repair program and specific vender managed inventory programs for customers in the area.
•    Completes physical inventory for predetermined items at CAP site; creates a replenishment order to restock bins and maintain set inventory levels. Monitors inventory usage to make suggestions for changing reorder points 
•    Work alongside Account Managers and participate in sales calls
•    Pursue new business opportunities through sales initiatives within the VMI group.
•    Monitor products supplied by competitors and determining the ability to convert items to Mc-Mc products.

What do you need to have to be successful in this role?
•    High school diploma required.  An associate degree preferred.  
•    We prefer candidates to have a high degree of knowledge of electrical distribution and/or similar product knowledge preferred.  
•    The selected candidate must also have effective written and verbal communication skills.
•    The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and position product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products as well as the ability to bend, stoop, and or crouch on a regular basis.
•    A valid driver’s license for region of business with a good driving record.
