GOLF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - CB - FULL-TIME - DAY SHIFT
STARTING RATE: D.O.E.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 years old/ (21 years old if driving company vehicles).
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Valid Driver's License and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old) *only if driving licensed company vehicles
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain all aspects of the golf course equipment and tools in good working order.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 6 months experience repairing and maintaining equipment. Must have the experience necessary to identify and correct mechanical problems that affect the day to day operation of equipment. Must possess excellent record keeping skills. Must have basic computer skills including internet and other golf maintenance related software. Must be highly motivated. Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Repair and practice preventative maintenance on all golf course equipment and tools keeping efficient records of all repairs.
- Perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Work as a team completing any other work related task and to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Maintain a constant level of communication with supervisors and mechanics.
- Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

- Set and maintain high standards for upkeep of course to make a positive impact with guests.
- Show initiative and seek additional assignments that will better serve guests.
- Take ownership and an ‘It’s my job’ attitude.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders, lifting heavy objects over 75 pounds, crouching, long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities or crawling in restricted areas.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, carts, or machines, or with irritant chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, glasses, hard hats, gloves and boots. Work in various weather conditions including extreme heat (exceeding 120 degrees) cold, wind and rain, etc.
