MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 21 years old                  

 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:  Gaming Permit, Valid Driver License, and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old).            

  

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs for the Company and working with department heads on department specific training programs and recommend enhancements to existing training programs. Training programs include but are not limited to Customer Service, Supervisory Training and Development, and job specific training. Must stay updated on new training techniques and methods.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum 2 years working experience in Training or Human Resources Management, or as a certified Educational Instructor required (hospitality resort experience a plus). Must have the ability and confidence to speak publicly in front of large groups. Must have a strong command of PowerPoint software. Must have excellent creative, communication (verbal and non-verbal), and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have previous experience working with a Learning Management System, for example Dayforce Learning Management System, or similar software. Must have the ability to work early mornings, late afternoons, and extended workdays. Must be able to travel between all Company properties. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Spanish is a plus.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Organizational development by initiating and monitoring all training programs and assure the continued professional growth and productivity of employees, which helps maximize the potential of all our employees.

 

  1. Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) for all Company online learning; managing audiences, tracking completions, launching courses, maintaining up-to-date content).

 

  1. Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with department heads to determine specific departmental training needs.

 

  1. Develop, write, and coordinate training programs with specific details that include; manuals, visual aids, PowerPoint, videos, etc.

 

  1. Provide training programs that stimulate and motivate attendees.

 

  1. Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs, e.g., testing and surveys.

 

  1. Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with department heads and managers throughout the Company.

 

  1. Assist in a variety of employee relations matters, including but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary action meetings, advising members of management, etc., as the needs of the business dictate.

 

  1. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

  • Project a professional image when interacting with customers and team members.

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

The work requires some physical exertion such as:  standing, walking, and sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, carrying, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.  Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

The work environment may involve everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions while taking care not to trip or fall.  Temperature fluctuations when the doors are open.  Moderate to loud noises from equipment in the work area.  This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
