LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONState of Nevada Gaming Permit, Valid Driver’s License, and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old).

 

JOB SUMMARY

Works closely with Department Directors and Managers on creating and implementing strategic marketing plans for their respective department(s). Assist with the development of marketing budgets. Operate within this budget and make recommendations for marketing, advertisements, collateral, promotional events and gifts, etc., as needed.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

A self-starter with strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and techniques, television, radio, newspaper, and magazine advertising effectiveness. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field and two years of working experience as a Marketing Director or Manager or at least three years of working experience as a Marketing Director or Manager. This director must thoroughly understand the mass and direct marketing strategy, tactics, and media placement. Excellent organization, analytical, and persuasive communication (verbal and written) skills are necessary.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain an intimate understanding of our customers’ attitudes and behaviors.

 

  1. Campaign Management: Marketing directors are responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns. This includes creating marketing calendars, coordinating advertising efforts, managing budgets, and measuring campaign effectiveness.

 

  1. Market Research and Analysis: Marketing directors should have the ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities. This information is crucial for making informed marketing decisions and identifying new opportunities.

 

  1. Continuous Learning: Marketing is an ever-evolving field, and marketing directors should stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. They should be passionate about learning and open to exploring innovative marketing approaches.

 

  1. Hire, train, lead, develop, motivate, evaluate, coach, and discipline marketing team members.

 

  1. Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work is sedentary.  Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work.  However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc.  No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc.  The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.  The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino.  This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
