Job Description:

To contribute to the Guest Satisfaction Policy of the hotel ensuring that all features of guest rooms as well as the hotel in general are in great working order, safe and attractive through an intensive preventive maintenance program

Typical Work Conditions:

Entire hotel (inside and out)

Equipment Used:

Paint, Paint Tray, Paint Roller & Refills, Ladders, Brushes, Drop Cloth, Tape, and any other painting tools that are necessary to complete the job duties.

Knowledge/Training:

• Must have a thorough knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in painting trade
• Must be able to do paint related repairs
• Must be able to properly apply, mix, and match paints
• Must be able to compute materials needed for assigned work
• Must be able to work and communicate with other maintenance personnel, other departments and guests
• Must be able to work independently

Essential Tasks:

• Check and repair paint related issues. For example: Dry wall repair
• Repair paint issues by caulking, plastering, etc.

• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior surfaces
• Apply or repair wallpaper
• Performs incidental duties as assigned
