Hourly Range:  $15.00 an hour up to 1,000 hours (Part-Time)

Job Summary:  One part-time internship opportunity is available working with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team.  The primary goal of the ACT Team interns is to provide community-based treatment to individuals that have multiple needs that span across numerous life domains, from basic survival skills in the community (such as access to food or housing) to psychosocial treatment. Interns are welcome to work between 8-24 total hours per week.

In addition to working with the CARS ACT Team, the interns will have the opportunity to learn about operational aspects of community services offered at CARS. This may involve participating in operations meetings for programs including Targeted Case Management, Community Support Program, Group Homes, AODA Residential, Recovery Support Coordination, and Comprehensive Community Services to gain knowledge of how these programs operate.
