Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is seeking an Employer Contracts Associate. This Associate is responsible for the administration, coordination, and review of documents related to non-signatory documents, non-union election forms, payroll batch verification, employer information packets, employer file maintenance, return mail, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Document Preparation
    • Input all critical data related to non-signatory Employer documents accurately and efficiently.
    • Process and verify electronic and manual payroll batch data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Process and verify all non-union election forms in a timely manner.
    • Compile, prepare, and distribute employer information packets as needed.
  • Customer Service  
    • Respond to written and verbal inquiries from Participants, Employers, Payroll Companies, and Unions professionally and promptly.
  • Clerical Support
    • File and prepare Employer documents for scanning and record-keeping purposes.
    • Perform additional clerical duties as assigned by supervisors to support departmental operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative work in an office environment.
  • Experience with Trust Funds, multi-employer trust funds, or the entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills; comprehensive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain and confirm understanding of complex issues related to the various agreements and departmental procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in work output, maintaining neat and meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized, proficient in time and resource management.
  • Intermediated level skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability, including working overtime or extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisors to support professional development and growth.

This is a Class 4 Union-affiliated position.
