About the opportunity:
As a Medicare Sales Representative at Corporate, you will be responsible for conducting all phases of selling, including identifying, qualifying, and meeting with prospective clients located in the North Country NY area. Your main goal will be to present Medicare Advantage (MA) products and services to meet company and individual enrollment goals. You will also ensure that each enrollee understands the MA products, managed care, and MVP policies by providing clear, complete, and accurate information. Building and maintaining positive relationships with senior organizations and community contacts within your assigned territory will be crucial. Additionally, you will give group and individual sales presentations, generate leads and referral sales, and maintain a prospect database. This role will require you to complete internal management reports and conduct member orientations as needed.

What you'll get to do:
- Identify, qualify, and meet with prospective clients in the North Country NY area
- Present Medicare Advantage products and services to meet enrollment goals
- Provide clear, complete, and accurate information to ensure understanding of MA products, managed care, and MVP policies
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with senior organizations and community contacts
- Give group and individual sales presentations, following sales and marketing guidelines
- Generate leads and referral sales
- Maintain a prospect database with important information
- Complete internal management reports
- Conduct member orientations
- Perform other assigned duties

Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Experience in a Medicare Managed care setting, with Medicare Sales preferred
- VT Health Insurance License a plus
- Demonstrated mastery of consultative sales process with a successful sales track record
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including public speaking
- Strong time management and project planning skills
- Good problem-solving capabilities
- Self-directed, confident, and sensitive to the needs of Medicare eligible populations
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism
- VT LAH Health Insurance license required within 4-week training period prior to selling
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel within assigned territory
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word for Windows, and basic data entry/typing skills
- Customer relationship management data fluency desired
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (or comparable program) helpful
- Ability to lift/transport heavy materials (brochures, etc.) as needed
