Summary

Under the supervision of a Recreation Specialist, this position will be responsible to open and close facilities, set up equipment for athletic leagues and programs and work special events.  Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads, and supervises athletic leagues, programs, athletic rental facilities, and special events.
• Provides quality customer service to all patrons both on the phone and in person
• Maintains essential records and prepares reports as required; to include but not limited to participation reports, usage reports, accident reports, and work orders  
• Receives money and records registration and membership information
• Uses RecTrac for daily attendance and financial operations 
• Performs daily tasks such as clean, file, sort, answer phone, copy, and other general office tasks.  
• Opens and closes various facilities, athletic fields and rental facilities
• Ensures all City financial, policies, procedures, and controls are followed
• Sets up, tears down and maintains inventory control of equipment at athletic fields and rental facilities
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of three years of High School
• 1 year experience working with adult/youth sports leagues or similar recreation programs
