Wound Center Access Associate (Portland Campus)

St. Ann’s Community is currently looking for a limited part time Access Associate for the Wound Healing Center located on the Portland Campus. The primary focus of this position is to serve as an integral part of operations, working collaboratively with the Podiatry team.

Job Description:

  • Answer phones, process messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/ physician. Greet patients upon arrival, obtain patient information.
  • Register patients into EMR
  • Work closely with EMR vendor
  • Fax, scan, file documents
  • Maintain patient records, front office schedule and billing sheets
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Obtain  prior authorizations/schedule medical tests as indicated
  • Sorting mail
  • Typing physician letters as indicated
  • Other duties as requested by podiatrist/nurse/  program director
  • Participates in staff meetings
  • Adheres to and enforces wound center dress code policy
  • Performs additional duties as requested

Candidate Requirements:

  • High School Diploma – Required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an outpatient healthcare practice
