As a Treasury Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Managing the portfolio of each commercial member and specifically is responsible for their key core products including but not limited to: Merchant Credit Card Services, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH Origination, and Positive Pay Services.
  • Establishing and achieving benchmarks related to goals in all areas of service, staffing, productivity, and corporate image.
  • Demonstrating enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectives.
  • Performing job duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors, policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.
  • Identifying appropriate solutions to educate, influence and close on sales to meet the commercial member’s needs and strengthen their financial relationship.
  • Ensuring client retention by partnering with the Commercial Lending Office to manage a portfolio of clients, each with complex needs in a highly competitive market.
  • Educating and clearly explaining the specifics of recommended products and services so the prospect/client is informed on the reasoning/justification behind the recommendations regulations.

Salary Range:

This is an exempt position. The salary range is $83,129.62- $103,912.03; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

 

Education/Experience:

  • You must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and three years’ relatable experience in Treasury Services /Business Banking are required.
  • Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
  • Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements.
  • Credit Union experience is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Bondability by CUMIS.

In order to be successful as a Treasury Management Specialist you must possess these qualifications:

  • Ability to use systems as assigned.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize various assignments and projects under time constraints.
  • Ability to retain information and knowledge of TFCU and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work under stress to meet a high level of accuracy documentation, within federal and state regulations and to ensure the quality of TFCU and member/client portfolios.
  • Present a professional, business-like appearance and manner.
  • Must be thoroughly knowledgeable of federal, state, and NCUA and how they apply to job and duties thereof.
  • Must maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent presentation skills to individuals and groups of people.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and actively listen to clients to recommend suitable products that meet their needs.
  • Understanding of business composition.
  • Ability to use Symitar, CRIF, and other related software.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize detail assignments and projects.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
