This job requires a combination of strong product and digital marketing skills, analytical and technical skills, and relationship management abilities. In this role, you will need to be able to quickly shift from strategic thinking to tactical execution. The job centers around researching and developing robust go-to-market product marketing campaigns and then implementing them utilizing tactics including digital, traditional, and social media; website content/thought leadership; events, etc.. It is also expected that you will analyze these campaigns and report back on success and/or opportunities for improvement by leveraging tools like Google Analytics.

You will also work closely with the Marketing Directors to develop digital engagement strategies and executing those strategies with a focus on our websites. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders working to proactively identify opportunities to create powerful messaging for our financial and fintech solutions and drive product marketing best practices.

A high level of expertise is expected and a deep understanding of the business is needed. Work must be done accurately and timely, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work. The broad scope of the job demands being comfortable operating with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. For this position, it’s essential to be familiar with new technologies and marketing trends.

The Senior Marketing Specialist is expected to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal business and functional team members to advance the marketing and communications agenda, build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations or Community Affairs or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant job experience in marketing.
  • Strong written communications skills, presentation skills and editing experience, which includes an aptitude for grammar, style and business writing.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:

  • Experience working in or with advertising agencies or marketing consultancies
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Highly proficient in MS Office – Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Expertise in Digital Marketing and website content management
