Pay Range: $65,267 – 106,851 annually


Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

As NFM’s Programmer Analyst III you will evaluate, analyze, develop, test, implement and maintain application software systems, which are used to support any/all aspects of our business. You will also play a leading role in managing projects for tasks assigned. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX. 

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Research: Examine the process and functions related to assigned tasks
  • Collaborate: Meet with users and other analysts to problem solve and define needs
  • Develop: Produce action plans, including identification of tasks, resources needed and time frames
  • Create: Write program(s) for tasks assigned that meet requirements based on specifications and department standards 
  • Test: Assess programs as needed and modify until they run as specified
  • Communicate: Follow-up on the status of the tasks assigned and update to production when approved
  • Coordinate: Organize implementation with the Programmer, Team Leader and/or User Representative assigned to the task
  • Lead: Be the primary contact for business leaders and users for task management, application, projects and design

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • 4 years of software development experience
  • 2 years of experience in Agile Frameworks and tools like Azure DevOps
  • 3 +years’ experience in Net (C#) Web Experiences
  • Deep understanding and experience developing REST services with .NET.
  • Working knowledge of UI frameworks (e.g., Angular etc.)
  • Working knowledge of security best practices (e.g., OWASP)
  • Experience with Azure AD and multi-tenant applications is preferred.
  • Experience in building highly scalable and reliable Azure cloud services leveraging App Services, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL DB, Azure API Management and other PAAS components will be a big plus.
  • Good knowledge in SQL Server development including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions.
  • Experience in NoSQL data store development like Cosmos DB is an asset.
  • Comprehensive understanding of application software and system concepts and the ability to apply them for the completion of difficult assignments
  • Demonstrated knowledge in cloud technologies, architecture, and services preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team framework and to motivate colleagues to manage projects effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of medium or greater size, complexity, and impact
  • Ability to accomplish difficult tasks and make decisions with minimal supervision/review by others
