The Vocational Truck salesperson is responsible for the support of customers that utilize Nuss’ suite of Vocational truck & body builder products. This individual will provide support, plan, organize, and manage the customer needs to ensure growth and profit objectives are met. This individual will maintain high quality standards and professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs while controlling costs to ensure profitability.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Promote and sell medium & heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and body builder products for customers.
  • Develop and present sales proposals to customers.
  • Meet all required company standards- gross profit, customer service, goals, and relative training supporting products and processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in reports, quoting and other internal communication.
  • Responsible for ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage account services through quality client communication channels and follow up on any concerns or issues identified
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology supporting the customer and internal business needs.
  • Maintain on-going communications with customers and department leaders supporting daily business needs and solutions

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or related program desired (appropriate experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience concentrated in medium and/or heavy-duty vocational sales and customer support.
  • Functional knowledge of truck, bodybuilder and trailer equipment required.
  • Demonstrated judgment, patience, organizational skills, problem solving and responsiveness to customers.

Additional Skills & Abilities:

  • Results oriented with ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize work and meet deadlines on a consistent basis
  • Ability to be hands-on; able to operate at both the strategic and tactical level
  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities and styles; strong process skills to support complex vocational truck and sales processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
