About The Position:

Oak Hill is seeking an Outpatient Clinic Director to perform the administrative and clinical oversight of Oak Hill’s Integrated Center - Outpatient Clinic, including personnel management and supervision of clinical services.  The incumbent will supervise a department of clinicians and staff.  The incumbent will work closely with Oak Hill’s affiliates and business departments and provide new connections in the community. 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree:  Master’s Degree or higher in clinical field required. Licensed or licensed eligible.
  • Number of Years of Experience: 6 Total, 3 Years Management
  • Prior administrative and clinical experience directing services in the field of mental health and disability services.
  • Ability to travel to various agencies, businesses, and meet with clients in their homes, if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides a high level of clinical expertise regarding outpatient treatment for mental health and co-occurring disorders with a particular focus on individuals with disabilities and their complex profiles which can include severe and chronic mental illness, trauma, crime victimization, IDDT, etc.
  • Provides leadership, oversight, and education through individual and group supervision, staff training, and program development. Ensures that personal and staff training and certifications are kept current.
  • Leads an effective program by creating, coordinating and implementing clinical services, including the facilitation of program meetings, best practice models of care and daily functions as required by contractual and credentialing bodies (e.g., DPH, CARF, VOCA, etc.).
  • Ensures that the program’s physical environment meets required regulations including a clean, safe, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitors and maintains processes for all contractual agreements, certifications or licensing regulations as required by contractual, credentialing and regulatory bodies (e.g., DPH, VOCA, and CARF, etc.).
  • Demonstrates expertise in clinical leadership by implementing timely admissions, continued services, and discharge processes for the program, with focus on utilization and fiscal stability.
  • Monitors and maintains positive outcome measures as defined by State regulations and Agency quality assurance processes. Ensures compliance in the program through the timely and accurate reporting of data both internally and externally as needed.
  • Consults with the supervising Senior Director, Oak Hill leadership team, Medical Director regarding client and program needs particularly regarding critical medical and mental health risk management and thoughtful treatment provision.
  • Maintains current knowledge of state treatment initiatives, program development trends and other relevant issues that may impact the clients and programs and seeks out opportunities to advance personal knowledge of treatment trends that may positively impact the services provided by the organization.
  • Responds to after-hours calls, on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
