Assembly Technician

Location: Loves Park, IL

We are the largest soft-tipped darts business in the United States. We are a fun and fast-paced company seeking new talent to join our team. We have full-time positions open for production and assembly team members.

  

We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our production team, ensuring that our dart boards are assembled to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. What does this role entail?

  • $15.50 - $16.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Shift: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm
  • Located onsite in Loves Park, IL
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation to be considered for this role.

 

Key responsibilities for dart board assembly includes:

  • Assemble components of dart boards and related products following detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Use a variety of hand and air tools and machinery to perform assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet our stringent standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve assembly processes and product quality.
  • Keep accurate records of production quantities and times.
  • Load and unload trucks with dollies
  • Box games and make cardboard
  • Complete quality and testing procedure forms
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and adapt to new product introductions.
  • Recognize and troubleshoot assembly performance problems
  • Using the computer to print labels and order parts
  • Maintain positive working relationship with co-workers and other departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in mechanical assembly or related field is preferred.

 

   

Work Requirements: 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred 
  • Strong work ethic a must
