Position Summary
The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
**Position pays $21/hour after successful completion of a 90-day probationary period**
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a forklift.
- Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to a pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks and 50,000 lb. tankers.
- Cleaning of the warehouse, and work area, as required.
- Daily maintenance of equipment
- Calls specialists when more serious problems occur.
- Tracks various data associated with production equipment.
- Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures.
- Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures.
- Maintain high production levels in areas of responsibility.
- Other duties, as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous forklift experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
- Capable of working in a team and independently.
Capable of following a production report while working independently
