Job Summary:
The POS Helper assists in maintaining price integrity throughout the store while also assisting in maintaining the appearance and presentation of store signage and product placement to maximize the customer shopping experience.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Knowledge of systems, processes and procedures for administering shelf tag placement and accuracy.
- Utilizes email notifications to process tags for shelf placement.
- Maintains tag placement presentation standards on the shelf.
- Ensures that proper stickers and labels are placed as required.
- Utilizes schematics to ensure proper presentation of product on shelves.
- Utilizes necessary programs and equipment to verify product price integrity as needed.
- Processes replacement tags and signage as needed.
- Reports issues to store management and retail support as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by store management.
Knowledge:
- 1 year of POS Clerk experience preferred but not required retail experience a plus.
- Ability to utilize Outlook, Excell and Microsoft Word as needed.
- Comprehensive knowledge of store layout and store product a plus.
- Basic math knowledge required

Physical Requirements:
- Requires combination of sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, stooping and climbing as needed.
- Must be able to utilize hands for computer functions, scanning items and placing tags.
- Ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, such as using a keyboard, writing, or handling small objects.
- Minimal lifting requirements but occasionally up to 40lbs. lifting.
Work Conditions:
- Standard Work Hours: Typically early morning to afternoon shifts with weekends off.
- Indoor Climate-Controlled Environment: Maintained at a controlled temperature with adequate lighting and ventilation.
- Primary work station is POS office but walking throughout the store is required for the position.
- Dress Code: Professional and presentable attire as determined by store management including name tag, company issued shirts, hats, jackets as needed or personal shirts that are black, burgundy or blue that are not faded and in good repair.
