In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. The Role: 

As a Forms Programmer you will be programming finance and lease documents to new and existing customers in the automotive industry on our dealer management software. These are the contracts that print when you are buying/leasing new or used vehicles.
 

Responsibilities: 

• Writing and implementing efficient code using Visual Basic.Net, VB6, SQL and Access 2010
• Programming and maintaining our library of Finance and Lease documents for customers in the automotive industry
• Creating insurance rates tables and insurance forms for new or existing dealerships/Working on all the forms for a specific install, for our new dealership
• Collaborating closely with other developers, business, and systems analysts
• Create technical documentation for references and reporting
• The Forms Programmer programmer keeps users informed about their escalations/incident’s status at agreed intervals

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years previous experience in the automotive industry or dealership environment considered an asset
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit, Visual Basic.net and VB6
• Basic programming and post-secondary education
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Strong documentation abilities
• Effective time management and organization
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
