Software Development Engineer in Test

Essential Job Functions: 

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium. 

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and acceptance criteria. 

• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in a clear and concise manner. 

• Perform regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability. 

• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data. 

• Implement and enhance test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency. 

• Conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure application robustness. 

• Provide guidance on best testing practices. 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes. 

• Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide actionable insights. 

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and automation. 

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Expertise in software testing and test automation. 

• Strong proficiency in Python programming. 

• Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated UI testing. 

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. 

• Effective communication and collaboration skills. 

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA) and version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust) is a plus. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
