Essence of the role (Role’s Purpose):
The Marketing assistant will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager. In your role as a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for project managing advertising for both retail and consumer facing campaigns supporting our multiple wholesale brand lines.  They will help manage all advertising requests and assist in developing ads for circulars, trade magazines, digital display ads, and couponing. Assist in developing and reporting on coupon executions and develop quarterly reports for the sales team. The Marketing Assistant will help syndicate product data to our retail partner websites and make certain our products are properly syndicated for an optimal digital shelf presence. Furthermore, the Marketing Assistant will support our social media efforts, post, develop content, and assist with all consumer correspondence. They will assist in packing out and shipping product samples to obtain reviews for our products to be syndicated across multiple websites. A successful candidate will be outgoing and focused with both the ability to collaborate in a team as well as to work and thrive individually. 
   

Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):
•    Advertising Artwork Requests: Assist with retail/national specific art requests (Example: FSIs, Circ Ads, Trade Ads), build formal requests on Monday.com, set meetings with artists to review requests, review creative and ensure we meet deadlines.
•    Trade Publications: Build Trade marketing calendar, initiate creative briefs for ads, manage projects, submit assets to pubs, research competitors, identify our ads and competitor ads in pubs, build competitor analysis and assist in strategy. 
•    Coupon Creation & Analytics: Assist with pulling coupon analytics and updating report quarterly basis. Assist with building coupon offers. Updating family codes with new items. Monitor weekly report to make sure our partners are being paid, remove any partners that should no longer be paid. 
•    Social Media Assistant: Commenting, responding to DMs, engaging with community. Working with customer service to develop responses. Assist Marketing Coordinator with building content for multiple brand lines. 
•    Analytics:  Help gather data, track digital campaigns across multiple platforms such as Instacart, Criteo, ibotta, determine ROI, and create recommendations for improving effectiveness. Analyze in-store campaigns such as demos, shelf blades, etc. 
•    Quarterly Reporting for Sales Team - Develop updates for the team containing press releases, national marketing executions, social executions, etc.  
•    Assist with Mockups: Build mockups, samples, and kits in office as needed for sales team and reviews. 
•    Data Syndication: Syndicate Data on Salsify, Brandbank, Syndigo to our retail partners.
•    Spot check .com content: Vet out .com sites to make sure our brands are properly represented, and data is properly syndicated. Develop a tracker to verify that all products are uploaded correctly. 
 

 Ingredients Required (Qualifications):
•    Bachelors’ degree Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations (MBA is a plus)
•    Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must
•    1-3 years in a marketing role or past internships
•    Experience using Adobe Suite 
•    Mathematical/statistical mindset for analyzing data and trends
•    Experience in planning, delivering, and measuring results
•    Intermediate knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and other social platforms
•    Ability to learn how to use new software
•    Proactive personality and careful attention to detail
•    Ability to multi-task and demonstrate agility
•    An ability to flawlessly multi-task and thrive under pressure and deadlines
•    Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills with a smile
•    Familiarity with the supplement industry is a plus
