Pay range: $26.44 - $29.44 per hour DOE

In this role you will be responsible for:

• General maintenance on mobile office units
• Mobile office unit refurbishments and restoration to original configurations.
• Custom modifications to customer specifications.
• Installing new exterior doors, windows, and security hardware
• Identifying and remediating all types of dry rot.
• Installation of entry levers, deadbolts, panic bars, closures, and door accessories
• Understanding and interpreting factory drawings and schematics.
• Repairs or replacement of interior wall coverings, tee grid ceilings, and VCT/carpet tiles
• Inspecting and repairing HVAC components and programming thermostats.
• Removing and replace faulty lighting, electrical components, and restroom fixtures.
• Patching, repairing, and installing composition, metal, and rubber roofing.
• Inspecting and repairing mobile office chassis and running gear
• Assisting with lot set-up of mobile and modular units
• Mentoring and training junior Service Technicians.
• Loading and unloading mobile office units with foundation materials and entry systems.
• Contributing to your branch achieving their annual goals.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Carpenter.
• Experience working with no supervision.
• Ability to understand and interpret factory drawings.
• Excellent leadership and training skills.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing schematics with the ability to perform standard testing, repair, and replacement.
• Preferred Skills
• Ability to Maintain accurate materials inventory.
• Understanding of Lean principles such as 5S and workspace optimization.

Physical Requirements:

• Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment.
• Working on concrete floors and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Working more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day as needed.
