The Base Dispatcher ensures the smooth, on-time, high-quality operation of daily station activities by providing accurate information and instructions and ensuring continuous communication between management, staff, & customers.

Wages:

• Starting at $19.50/hour

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• One year of customer service, dispatch, administration, or hospitality experience required; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education.

Knowledge, Requirements & Skills

• Requires knowledge of the local area roads and landmarks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to relate to employees and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to recognize and define problem areas, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Requires basic computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Good judgment and decision making.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure we provide excellent transportation service to our customers.
• Establish check-in times, organize manifest, and ensure drivers sundry items for the day.
• Interface with drivers
• Pay attention to detail on special instructions
• Monitor community events and road closures, traffic, and take action to ensure timely service.
• Update vendors with lunch orders and admissions.
• Update the reservations system.
