We provide a comprehensive menu of services to plan, create, develop and manage an inviting, customized, and economically self-sustaining fitness and wellness center.

The Sales Associate is responsible for acquiring and enrolling new memberships and representing and promoting the center in the community.  Assist with acquisitions of corporate partners and nurture relationships to promote corporate agreement benefits.  Ensure the department is achieving membership and ancillary service sales goals and deliver exceptional member and guest experiences. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Proficiently sell memberships and all ancillary services included but not limited to personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, virtual programing and nutrition services to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
2. Secure and manage the following membership accounts: corporate, medically referred, community referred and all other memberships.
3. Identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential corporations, and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate partners.
4. Maintain accurate lead and prospect tracking records through use of our CRM, providing consistent and timely follow up.
5. Be able to conduct a center tour to all prospects, using tour guide policy.
6. Support the new member fitness assessment process, including introduction of the new member to the fitness team, scheduling assessments, etc.
7. Participate and assist in developing center marketing activities used to procure and retain memberships.
8. Represent the center by attending off-site events such as health fairs and corporate events with the intent of sharing center information and procuring memberships.
9. Research center competition to assess membership options in the community periodically.
10. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
11. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
12. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service preferred.
• CRM Experience a plus
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation and tracking skills required.
