Title:            Human Capital Management Systems Manager

Program:     Human Resources/Payroll Departments

Duration:     3-month assignment

Remote:       Fully remote for Up to 25 hours per week, 5 days per week

Hourly rate: $70/hour, non-benefit eligible

 

Overall Responsibilities: 

The Human Capital Management (HCM) and Special Projects Manager will be responsible for managing the Human Capital Management Systems/Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceridian/Dayforce HCM system and processes, project management methodologies and tools, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. This role will require a high level of organization, attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Oversees and maintains the optimal function of the organization's internal HR information services systems.
  • Oversees and maintains internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR Team and employees.
  • Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives.
  • Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
  • Maintain awareness of HR data security and comply with policies and procedures set by the HR and Information Technology, and government.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Assist in running complex payroll and maintaining compliance requirements for the organization.
  • Provide technical and functional support for integrating HR Systems with different financial, information technology systems, and healthcare systems via API.
  • Conduct data analysis, research, and provide the executive team with recommendations to reduce turnover, increase retention, and employee engagement, and maintain compliance.
  • Such other duties as may be required by business needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in HCM/HRIS management and project management.
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce HCM/HRIS systems.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite Skills (Excel, Visio, Planner, etc.)
  • Must have authorization to work in the US
  • At least two strong references related to systems knowledge and competency.
