Carpenter - 063

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, seeks an experienced, highly motivated Carpenter to work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and following safety standards.

• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other trade professionals
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications.
• Install Drywall and Finish surfaces using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures.
• Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job.
• Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects within specified timelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Always follow safety protocols and regulations.

 May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be a good communicator (written and oral) with the ability to interact with other professionals, clients, administrative staff, and support staff.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction
• Proficiency in installing drywall, framing, cabinetry installation, and remodeling
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy material
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.
• This is a school environment so applicant must be able to pass a criminal background, obtain a child line clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a willingness to learn new skills and assist co-workers.
