HR Generalist (Hybrid)

Summary of Position:
The HR Generalist will be an integral member of the People Operations group. They will work independently in a dynamic environment and possess a thorough knowledge of Human Resources employment law. The HR Generalist will assume a variety of responsibilities and manage the day-to-day HR processes. They will provide top level customer care and empathy during employee interactions, while utilizing problem solving skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate and document all grievances and employee/management interactions, provide mediation and advice while ensuring confidentiality and alignment with compliance regulations.
- Develop an understanding of company policy and culture; and apply HR knowledge accordingly.
- Handle general employee questions pertaining to company policies, procedures, and benefits programs.
- Support multiple offsite divisions throughout several states.
- Act as a liaison between People Operations and Payroll, Benefits, Risk Management and Talent Acquisitions departments.
- Lead various HR projects throughout the year.
General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:
- We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from $65,000 to $70,000 annualized, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
- This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations and investigations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to respond to associate requests and questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all associate issues (compensation, performance reviews, counseling notices, promotions, etc.).
- Strong sense of urgency with a calm and positive attitude.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and work in the gray.
- HRIS experience required, Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced work environment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams).
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to be in office 2 days per week.
Physical Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the HR Generalist to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary. #LI-AB
