TheOpportunity

Recurrent Ventures' Donut Media is looking for a Senior Client Success Manager (Senior CSM). The Senior CSM is a key part of the Recurrent team as they ensure seamless execution of strategic and high touch direct-sold programs and develop key client relationships. CSMs work directly with clients and internal sales partner(s) throughout the day by creating actionable plans to achieve goals; providing key insights to inform ongoing strategy; and working with internal teams to flight and manage campaigns. CSMs at Recurrent Ventures showcase exceptional communication skills; possess the ability to recognize opportunities and problems quickly; keep close attention to detail; and are willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced, friendly, team-focused environment.

This person should have knowledge and experience in digital media, including branded content. This role will take a proactive approach when it comes to communication, ensuring that the client has a strong understanding of every aspect of their digital campaign. The Senior CSM will think dynamically and communicate effectively across different internal departments to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and client requests are addressed. Throughout the campaign, the Senior CSM will be responsible for reporting on and optimizing all channels to hit and exceed client goals.

 

While Recurrent is a remote-first company, for this position there is a strong preference for candidates residing in the Los Angeles area.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

  • Work as a partner to Sales Leadership on large, cross-channel, strategic partnerships.

  • Deliver five-star customer service with timely responses, reliable accessibility and proactive solutions.

  • Support the sales team in the RFP process by facilitating brainstorm meetings, providing historical insights and best practices, and building effective media plans.

  • Field all client requests including screenshots, content edits, and reporting requests.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for expanding our client base through referrals and other channels.

  • Gather feedback from clients on their experiences with our products and services, and share that feedback with internal teams to drive improvements.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and to identify opportunities for further engagement.

  • Prioritize and project manage campaign deliverables by coordinating with and delegating to internal departments.

  • Conduct daily campaign reviews, analysis and optimization.

  • Develop and maintain an organizational system for campaign assets.

  • Refine reporting templates for each digital media product to best demonstrate ROI for clients. Present campaign findings to support the renewal process.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in Boostr, our order management system (OMS).

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field is preferred

  • Five to eight years of experience in a client-facing role managing $2M-3M+ in revenue annually, preferably in digital publishing, with a digital media agency or in the creator space

  • Experience facilitating social and video branded content execution and other on-location activations such as official event sponsorships and logo integrations.

  • Experience in executing social, YouTube, and podcast ads.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, draw strategic recommendations, and present findings to clients.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop trust with clients.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales and marketing tools.

  • Proficiency in media planning, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
