Our commerce team is dedicated to driving revenue through strategic affiliate partnerships and innovative collaborations. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Partnerships Manager to support our Director of Commerce Account Management in expanding our affiliate partnerships and growing our business.

 

The Opportunity: 

The Partnerships Manager will play a vital supporting role to the Director of Commerce Account Management, focusing on the execution and management of affiliate partnerships. This role requires a disciplined self-starter with a passion for nurturing relationships across the retail industry, as well as an innate understanding of shoppable content and what makes it work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Recurrent Ventures’ product & commerce content capabilities and brands

  • Provide day to day support to the Director of Commerce Account Management in managing affiliate partnerships to help Brands drive maximum performance and impact to their businesses

  • Manage affiliate relationships and the campaign execution, ensuring deliverables are of highest quality and developed in a timely manner

  • Develop and manage a tool to maintain a client pipeline to sell and track flat fee and affiliate marketing campaigns

  • Serve as the key point of contact and account manager throughout the duration of the campaign, internally and externally

  • Prepare performance summary reporting on campaigns

  • Maintain and update records of partner agreements, performance metrics, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor the performance of affiliate partnerships, compiling regular reports with the Director of Commerce Account Management to inform decision-making

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather resources and information needed for partnership campaigns

  • Conduct preliminary research on potential affiliate partners with the Director of Commerce Account Management

  • Work within Airtable to ensure Brand teams have information required for deliverables, following through with them offline if necessary

  • Identify optimization improvements to Airtable lead, creating an efficient system to help drive the business forward

  • Track rates and rate changes, communicating where needed

  • Maintain affiliate links on sites, managing the flight dates of premium placements with preferred partners

  • Assist with any ad hoc projects or tasks as needed by the Director of Commerce Account Management.

  • Support the delivery of Tentpole events (e.g. Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday) by bringing together best practice recommendations from the cross-functional team and ensuring strong implementation and reporting

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a support role within affiliate marketing, partnerships, or business development, preferably in the online publishing or commerce space.

  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in using affiliate marketing platforms and data visualization tools (e.g., Trackonomics, Impact, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, Looker) and comfortable interpreting and summarizing data, and drawing actionable insights and action items from analysis.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.

  • Works collaboratively to problem solve on operational tasks whilst able to deliver big-picture strategic thinking to drive forward partnerships.
