JOB SUMMARY:

 

Rock Entertainment Group (REG), who are part of Cavaliers Holdings, LLC, seek a coachable, hardworking individual with a passion for growing a career in the sports marketing business. Under the leadership of the Director, Franchise Partnership Marketing and Senior Director, Franchise Partnerships – this position will interact and work with our Cleveland Monsters American Hockey League team, Cleveland Charge, NBA G-League team, and Cavs Legion GC NBA 2K League. Duties will include managing several corporate partnership accounts, handling gameday activation responsibilities, as well as managing the franchise social media and digital efforts, tracking and activation.
 

Candidate should be a strong communicator and self-starter. Strong time management skills and the ability to work against tight deadlines in an ever-changing schedule is important. Great listening skills and the capacity to communicate with business partners, team members and clients at all levels are important traits as well. The position will work to retain and grow our partnership accounts, as well as working alongside other team members to support the wider team to drive opportunities across properties. Providing excellent customer service to all partners/members including strategic touchpoints such as event and game day visits on both personal and business levels. Anticipation of client needs based upon internal and external feedback, reports and industry trends are key components of the position. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for managing 10-15 franchise partnership accounts.
  • Grow relationships with partners through consistent touchpoints.
  • Attend community promotional events when necessary.
  • Assist with content capture in support of franchise partnerships team.
  • Help oversee activation and promotional executions on event days.
  • Track and pull metrics on sponsored social media campaigns.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude required.
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of corporate partnership sales process within an entertainment organization, agency, professional sports team, league, or media.
  • High level of creativity and ability to organize with attention to details, usability, and branding.
  • Computer literacy is required, which includes but is not limited to, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Continuous learner and a growth mindset toward driving the business and developing solutions for clients.

  • Position requires excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Contagious, positive attitude.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry.
