As a Software Manager, you are the people leader for a team developing and delivering products.

Who you report to: Director, Product Operations

What the job is all about:

• Coach and mentor team to cultivate an agile culture of high performance

• Guide people to develop competencies that achieve desired outcomes

• Align team with corporate/departmental vision and strategic initiatives

• Build cross functional teams; identify missing capabilities at the team level, present analysis and

   recruit accordingly

• Instill in the team a desire to be accountable

• Instill in the team a desire to innovate

• Manage employee performance by goal setting in alignment with strategic initiatives and

   delivering feedback in support of the progress.

• Participate in compensation planning for reports; including recommendations and justifications.

• Administration of employee needs

• Onboard new hires

 

Who you are:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with relevant technologies

• Strong technical abilities with knowledge of advanced principles related to relevant technologies

• Exceptional leadership skills

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Exceptional communication skills

• Exceptional innovation and visionary skills

Good organizational abilities and time management skills
