What the job is all about:

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle – requirements gathering, scoping, design, implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Estimate development tasks and project effort levels.
  • Participating in code design and code reviews.
  • Perform debugging and troubleshooting solutions as well as provide user support.

 

Who you are: 

  • Post secondary degree in Computer Science, or other relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with full stack software development life cycle in an agile environment.
  • The ability to explore and integrate different tools and technologies in your applications.
  • Experience with following languages and technologies: React Native, React.js, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Jetty, Ajax, Eclipse, OSGi, Struts, and Hibernate, Redux
  • Experience with Test Driven Design, Behavior Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Java Design Patters, and principals of Object Oriented design and implementation.
  • Knowledge and experience with unit testing and test automation
  • You enjoy working collaboratively on projects.
  • You take pride in providing high quality innovative solutions.
  • You are prepared to tackle challenging work.
  • Adaptive to change and always looking for ways to improve.

Bonus points if you have the following:

  • Experience with one or more of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Web Platform.
  • Knowledge of professional broadcast equipment in television standards.
  • Familiar with Git code revision system.
