Purpose

 

The primary purpose of this position is to promote, support, and communicate wellbeing practices and program activities to Sandridge employees.  The position should advocate for both the employee and the company to encourage a high level of wellbeing to improve the quality of life of employees, support food and people safety initiatives, and be a strong voice to create a safe and healthy workforce.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee main employee entrance and ensure compliance of procedures when employees enter the building.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere while greeting every employee who enters—“Wellbeing Ambassador.”
  • Communicate and promote wellbeing activities and initiatives.
  • Interact with employees in a positive way in order to support them and provide wellbeing resources to them.
  • While maintaining utmost confidentiality, utilize the position to identify challenges or issues individual employees are facing and refer to the appropriate resource.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Will be required to update and maintain Wellbeing electronic bulletin boards.
  • Must be comfortable doing internet research on various wellbeing topics & take detailed notes.
  • Be able to schedule appointments between the employee and the Wellbeing Coordinator using Microsoft Outlook and the Wellbeing Kiosk.
  • Must be willing to learn how to create content and navigate the processes of the Wellbeing Kiosk and Calendly App.
  • This person shall exemplify the Sandridge Core Values at all times (Integrity/Ethics, Always Improving, Caring Employee Environment, Excellence in Reputation and Responsive Customer Service).
  • Serve as a wellbeing advocate that focuses on identifying employees who may need wellbeing support.
  • Create a welcoming and positive attitude as employees enter the facility.
  • Any other duties as assigned, including working production floor if business need arises.

Functions

 

  • Ability to work in fluctuating temperature environments of refrigeration and non-refrigeration
  • Ability to lift or move various products and or items ranging in weight from 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to flex schedule to accommodate needs of the business

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma required
  • Post graduate work or degree preferred
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, customer or public relations preferred
