Scrap Technician

As a Scrap Technician, you will be responsible for preparing scrap vehicles for the monthly crush.
Scrap Technician Responsibilities include:
- Drain vehicle fluids.
- Remove tires, wheels, and exhaust systems.
- Break down tires from the rim.
- Operate a forklift and conduct weekly inspections.
- Keep track of the number/type of parts scrapped.
- Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Scrap Technician Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles at Milford Proving Grounds.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
- Must be a reliable team player.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
