SCHEDULE:  Sunday evening 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Friday morning (5 days x 8 hour schedule)

PAY: Starting rate of $18.50/hour plus $2.00/hour shift premium (opportunities for 2 merit pay increases within first year of employment.)

 

Position Summary:

Machine Operator III will have various tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Complex Machine set up, tooling changes and change overs
  • Machine trouble shooting and problem solving
  • Ability to use computers
  • Able to read blueprint or markers
  • Enter detailed program data for complex parts and processes
  • Responsible for quality
  • Accurate use of complex measurement tools
  • Complex parts and processes
  • A lot of Varying parts, fine detail, last step before finishing
  • This role would also encompass the designated back up for the Production Leader II in the cell or department.

 

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to recognize discrepancies and initiate resolution
  • Regular lifting and maneuvering and positioning of product up to 50 lbs
  • Requires full shift of standing, walking, bending and lifting
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Able to use basic hand tools and small power equipment
  • Able to assist in training employees   
  • 5-S audits and daily cleaning
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

 

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred   
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
