Overall Goal of the Associate Brand Manager Position:
Seeking a data-driven individual with a bias for action, to support marketing and product growth initiatives for Spice Business Unit.
Associate Brand Manager Job Summary:
This position reports to the Brand Marketing Manager – Spice Business Unit supporting all aspects of the branded business including consumer advertising, promotions, shopper marketing, performance tracking, innovation support, data analytics support, market research, brand planning and execution, project management, and event marketing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Associate Brand Manager Position:
- Brand Strategy and Management
- Helps execute and optimize marketing campaigns
- Analyzes industry, competition, and market trends
- Analyzes sales and performance data, preparing and presenting reports on brand performance and sales
- Supports strategic marketing plans and annual business planning
- Supports brand portfolio management and commercialization of new product launches
- Supports tracking marketing spend against budget
- Commercial Support
- Partners with sales leads to plan and execute retailer-specific shopper marketing
- Develops customer presentations in collaboration with sales leads
- Develops sales collateral (sell sheets, sample support, trend reports)
- Supports eCommerce business with copy, images, content needs
- Event and Tradeshow Support
- Attends and helps run tradeshows and marketing events, so some evenings and travel required

- Experience managing business operations and leveraging basic finance and accounting principles

- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, plan for alternative scenarios, and make sound judgment decisions

- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or accounting
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in brand management, consulting or finance
