The AACSB-accredited Jack Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University is accepting applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor faculty position in the Accounting and Information Systems Department for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning August 2024. This faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in Auditing, as well as Financial and Managerial Accounting. Please clearly list your teaching interests in your Application. The position will entail a 4/4 teaching load with courses potentially offered both day and evening, with the possibility of online and/or blended courses.
Requirements:
This position requires a doctorate in Accounting or a related field from an AACSB-accredited university (ABDs will be considered). The ideal candidate will have an excellent teaching record and significant relevant business experience.

SHU's Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) is AACSB-accredited and enrolls some 2,000 students. The School of Computer Science and Engineering (which is part of the WCBT) offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Science/Information Technology, Game Design and Development, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The WCBT offers eight Master's programs: MS in Computer Science, MS Information Technology, MS Cybersecurity, MS Business Analytics, Masters in Business Administration, MS in Accounting, MS Finance and Investment Management, MS Human Resource Management, MS Digital Marketing, and the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA-Finance).
Nearly sixty full-time faculty and four staff members bring an impressive range of expertise to the WCBT with terminal degrees and advanced training from leading universities.
