Visiting Assistant Professor - Economics Fall 2024
The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) invites applications for one Visiting Assistant faculty position in the Economics program starting August 2024.
A doctorate in economics or a graduate degree with considerable ongoing business experience is required, along with evidence of excellence in teaching and/or teaching potential. ABDs will be considered.
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
- Teach principles and upper-level undergraduate economics courses
- Conduct quality research in the areas of economics or have considerable ongoing business experience.
- Contribute to innovative curricular development activities.
- Participate in department, school, and university-level services, including advising students.
- A solid background in econometrics and a programming language like Python is preferred.
