Summary:
This position will be responsible for back end of line (BEOL) integration and process development for custom engagements in our ATS organization. It will have oversight of a small engineering team to execute on program specific integration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of building and maintaining a full-time staff of development and integration engineers.
- Leads technical engagements with customers and partners to define and implement new technology solutions.
- Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Leads projects that enable successful completion of technology development. Produces results that can help converge to a solution quickly.
- Work with management and customers to roadmap future improvements in process capability, electrical performance, and defect reduction for BEOL processes.
- Ability to advance new developments, process flows, and/or invention.
- Leads critical projects that significantly impact revenue, cost, performance, and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or other relevant discipline.
- 4 years engineering experience in Semiconductor or related field.
- Experience in technology development, integration, or device physics.
- Understanding of the interactions of individual process steps on the overall process flow, electrical performance, and reliability.
- Good problem-solving capability with strong use of data and science to propose solutions
- Familiar with statistical analysis tools, DOEs, and SPC.
- Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to refine complex subject matter for non-technical audience.
U.S. Citizen Required: This position will require the holding of a government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: MS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or other relevant discipline.
- BEOL Integration experience on technology nodes <250nm.
- 7+ years engineering experience in Semiconductor field.
- 2+ years management experience.
