Position Summary: We are seeking an Senior Accountant to expand our team and support the growth of the Company. This role will be involved in various aspects of our operational accounting and financial reporting requirements. This position will also work closely with the finance and SEC reporting teams.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Significant contributor in our month-end and quarter-end close processes which includes journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Responsible for capital expenditure tracking and fixed asset management.
  • Performs accounting for stock compensation related activities.
  • Adherence to SOX control requirements.
  • Team with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Prepare and perform preliminary review of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with financial statement audit, tax audit & compliance, and lender audits.
  • Other projects as assigned.
The job also requires performing other duties as assigned. Percentages of time spent on job duties are estimates and may vary for each position.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Experience and Skills: 2+ years in Accounting with a preference of public accounting and technical accounting in industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • CPA license and In-depth understanding of GAAP.
  • Organized and proactive with an ability to manage multiple activities in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite ERP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented.
