Location: Marlborough, MA - Peer Recovery Program
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional Saturdays
Pay rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a substance abuse program preferred
- Be familiar with local recovery community.
- Knowledge and understanding of the specific need often associated with the Young adult population.
- Experience providing harm minimization advice and information that reduces the potential negative impact on individuals and communities
- Experience with referral procedures to a range of treatment/community support agencies
- Experience with the provision of support that is structured, focused and time-limited to the point of entry with clients waiting to access appropriate treatment /support services generated from contacts with the street population
- Experience with data collection systems, information technology and general administrative duties
- Must have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for
- Educating the public about addiction and the multiple pathways to Recovery, recruiting participants, and networking with community-based organizations in collaboration with peer volunteers.
- Assisting Young Adults on their pathway to Recovery/or help maintain a strong Recovery.
